Pelagus 90-S is a small stick-bait specifically designed for bluefin tuna. It's perfect in case of fish feeding on shoal of little anchovy or sardine. Has revealed itself to be a real killer even on little tunnies, bonitos, frigate tunas and others pelagic predators. Pelagus 90-S action's extremely versatile, work fine with many kind of retrieve and is characterized by a strong wobbling and flashing while sinking, that can attract predators from a long distance.

In order to resist Bluefin Tuna strength it's reinforced with a 1.6mm stainless steel through wire and the coloration is protected by several layers of extremely resistant glossy coating.

    I was looking for a pier casting lure for salmon/trout/pike. Seems to be what I was looking for. Can cast very far and easily with a bait caster into the wind. Has a good action. Will rise to the surface on retrieve. Has a nice flutter action on slack line. I like it because of its small size (good for salmon/trout), heavy weight and the ability to run 2-4x size 2 trebles without it affecting the action. Can use much more drag on big salmon without concern. First outing caught a 26" steelhead late in the season.

    Ordered the 90-S in March and I received parcel and wrote this review in July, so actually getting the lure took awhile because the lures are handmade in Italy and the order was on the back burner on the part of jackfin. However, my patience was rewarded with with not only receiving the lure in a nice packaging, but also getting some jack fin swag too. Haven’t used it yet, but it feels Slick and very tough with the epoxy, very excited to see how it performs on tuna and false albacore with its unique action while falling and on the retrieve.
